Aleyna Prokudina

Aleyna joined Shared Intelligence in 2021 after graduating from the University of Leeds with a first-class MA in Social and Political Thought. During her degree, she undertook a dissertation looking at Artificial Intelligence and how the policy sector was responding to its deployment in the UK, US, and EU. As part of her bachelor’s degree, she conducted research into the use of predictive analytics in border control, developing her interest in digital technologies and their impact on society. She had the opportunity to enhance her research and data analysis skills during her undergraduate studies, where she took modules in both quantitative and qualitative social research methods. She is interested in people’s lived experiences and improving public service delivery through evidence-based policies and decisions.

Aleyna is currently working on projects which draw on insight from conversations with mayoral combined authorities, council officials, and other public and private sector individuals to generate detailed outputs in various forms. She has supported our work with the Local Government Association, where she was responsible for providing in-depth case studies and desk-based research. In addition to this, Aleyna has assisted on our work with Transport for the South East and will be providing delivery support for the Lewisham trailblazer as part of the National Childhood Obesity Trailblazer Programme.
