Ben Lee

Ben is an experienced advisor, researcher and facilitator, with specialisms in communities of practice and learning networks. He designs and leads peer learning programmes for community volunteers and public sector professionals, and advises arts and public library leaders on increasing social impact. He is a founding trustee of Local Trust.

He helped re-shape the national ‘universal offers’ for English public libraries, co-created Arts Council England’s quality princples for children and youth arts, and led a ground-breaking action research project to increase the impact of library-based rhyme times on maternal mental health. Ben also leads our contribution to an international scenarios and horizon-scanning programme we run with Swedish consultancy Kairos Future.

Previously Ben worked for the London Borough of Camden, and before that in central government (in what is now MHLG) in social housing, sustainable development, and international aviation.
