Charlotte is an experienced researcher with expertise in designing and conducting interviews and surveys, statistical analysis and desk-based research. She is a history graduate and has a postgraduate degree in social research and social policy.
Charlotte joined us from the Citizens Advice National Office where she worked in Policy Research. During this role, she supported the production of numerous research reports which included using her data skills to analyse large data sets and conduct a large number of semi-structured interviews. A big piece of work Charlotte was involved in was research into the experiences of people who represent themselves in family courts. Therefore, she has a sound basis for both analysis as well as working with vulnerable people and understanding their needs.
Since working at Shared Intelligence, Charlotte has brought these skills to the various projects she has worked on. She has worked on evaluation, strategy, facilitation and policy focused projects. Charlotte is an experienced project manager, having worked in this capacity on a number of projects including: research into the delivery of the Armed Forces Covenant across England, Scotland and Wales; research and case studies to understand the potential impact of a reduction in European Structural Investment Funding after Brexit; research on reducing the burden of data and information requests on providers of health and social care in England; research into rhyme times and maternal mental health; and the Kingston Economic Growth and Development Strategy.
