Nikhil joined Shared Intelligence in early 2024, after graduating from the University of Warwick with a Master of Science in Economics. During his studies, Nikhil completed a dissertation examining the effect of the Right-to-Work law on the labour market outcomes of blue-collar workers. Nikhil also delved into other research topics ranging from health economics to crime economics during his studies.
While studying, Nikhil has worked in a variety of roles including at an Education Technology startup company as an Economics Research Assistant. Here he assisted the company not only with his analytical skills but also logistically. In addition to this role, Nikhil has worked as a Policy Research Analyst at a think tank which focused on clean energy and waste management. These experiences have helped Nikhil in developing variety of technical and administrative skills. He is passionate about public policy and has research interests in labour, health and energy economics.
Nikhil’s current projects involve a project for the Greater London Authority (GLA) to help implement their Building a Fairer City action plan. He is also supporting on an Armed Forces project for the Forces in Mind trust (FiMT).
